How can we help?

Group’s permissions

Group permissions in Thrivea are used to define the rights at a group level, where access is structured across the platform by features and specific functionalities.

Follow these steps to configure group permissions:

1. Find the Permission Group you want to set permissions for. For example, Admin Group.

2. Locate the Group’s permissions tab.

Scroll down to find Group’s permissions.

3. Open the Group’s permissions tab.

Understand that permissions are divided by features.

4. Go through each module and decide the level of access:

Settings: company structure, security, and work patterns.

News Feed: internal communications and company updates.

Talent: recruitment tracking, performance, and talent forms.

Compensation: salary cycles, reviews, and approvals.

Time Off: leave requests, balances, and shared calendars.

Reporting: data-driven insights and company reports.

Reminders: automated notifications and task alerts.

Documents: official document generation and management.

Own Data: personal profile fields and employment history.

4. For each module, choose how to grant permissions:

Use Enable All (Right Switch) to instantly activate all permissions within that feature.

Confirm the badge updates (e.g., 6/6 Enabled).

5. If you need more control, use Individual Selection (Left Arrow):

Click the arrow icon to expand the feature.

Manually check or uncheck specific permissions.

6. Repeat the process for all relevant features.

7. Once group-level permissions are configured, proceed to Permissions over others to define more detailed rules for what group members can view or edit for other employees.

8. Continue here: Permissions over others.
